SJ 09 - Postcard of Georgetown, Penang

This is some of the famous places in Georgetown, Penang.

All 3 buildings in the sketch above has their own uniqueness.

The Suffolk House and Masjid Kapitan Keling are great examples of buildings from the past. The Suffolk House was not taken care of and was left unattended and became a waste building. But they decided to keep this important structure. It was later restored and now it's opened to public as a musuem and a retaurant.
The Masjid Kapitan Keling is well kept building. It didn't require much restoration.

The Penang shophouses in the sketch were kept the way they were built this type of shophouses were built in the early 1900's.
